This is the first year the poker tournament has expanded to include a 144-person golf tournament at Siena Golf Club on Friday, May 20, to kick off the weekend festivities. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served to guests registered to hit the links. The following day, Saturday, May 21, guests will be inspired by a St. Jude patient’s story, share a few laughs with Emcee Joe Stapleton, and experience a competitive night of poker with a few favorite poker players, including Daniel Negreanu, as well as Las Vegas Raiders alum Lincoln Kennedy, former NHL star Matthew Barnaby and more special guests.
Those who play the turbo poker tournament will have a chance to win a $10,000 seat to the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event in July. Additionally, there will be a cocktail reception, dinner, and live entertainment to help raise awareness and support for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.
This year’s event sponsors include LEXICON Bank, Charity Series of Poker, Golf Venture, Johnson Brothers of Nevada, SKC Group, Applied Wealth Management, Driggs Title Agency, M.R. Whitsett Inc., Prosperity Lending, Pueblo Medical Imaging, and T&M Controls. Event founder Daniel Negreanu, a six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, is co-chairing this event with Matt Stout, President and Founder of the Charity Series of Poker.
