1,000 law enforcement officers and families to attend; Ticket sales to benefit LVMPD Foundation
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation will celebrate National Police Week at the inaugural LVMPD Night at Las Vegas Ballpark by hosting 1,000 guests – all members of local law enforcement and their families – at the Las Vegas Aviators home game on May 11.
This year,National Police Week is observed May 11- 17, 2022. Its purpose is to honor members of law enforcement, in service to society, by recognizing the sacrifices and valor of law enforcement, and educating the community about law enforcement’s role in making communities safer.
The LVMPD Foundation purchased 1000 tickets for Metro officers, staff, and family members who will attend the game. LVMPD Deputy Chief Yasenia Yatomi will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The public is invited to attend the Las Vegas Aviators game to show support to Metro. For every ticket sold, $5.00 will be donated to the LVMPD Foundation. Click here to purchase tickets https://fevo.me/lvmpd0511
At the game, LVMPD merchandise will be available for purchase along the concourse. Merchandise will include new and popular items, including Nike polo shirts and quarter zips for men and women, pullover hoodies, hats, t-shirts, and hydro flasks, to name a few.
Proceeds from ticket sales and purchase of LVMPD Foundation merchandise helps fund hundreds of programs and initiatives, such as community engagement sports programs like Bolden Little League and Hockey United which provides mentorship and builds trust between officers and local children, updated equipment and technology for community safety and crime prevention efforts, and advanced officer training.
