Critically acclaimed bass guitarist, singer and songwriter Thundercat is bringing his soulful progressive R&B beats to Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Monday, July 25 for an intimate, one-night-only performance.
Originally hailing from Los Angeles, Stephen Lee Bruner – better known by his stage name Thundercat – grew up surrounded by a family of musicians. Learning how to play the bass at an early age, Thundercat first came to prominence as the bass player for the crossover thrash group Suicidal Tendencies at the age of 16. Outside of the band, Thundercat has been accredited for his work on some of the most influential albums of all time including Erykah Badu’s “New Amerykah,” Flying Lotus’ “Cosmogramma,” and Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed “To Pimp a Butterfly.” With a highly successful solo career of his own, Thundercat’s “It Is What It Is” won a GRAMMY for Best Progressive R&B Album in 2020. A well-respected and much-in-demand talent amongst his peers, Thundercat has gone on to work with major artists like Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, ye, Anderson, Paak and many more.
Tickets to Thundercat at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas start at $35 and will go on sale online on Friday, May 6at 10 a.m. PST. Venue presale will begin Thursday, May 5 at 10 a.m. PST with password: THUNDERBBLV.
