Sahara Las Vegas Announces May Specialty Cocktails, Dishes, Gaming Promotions, More
SAHARA Las Vegas announces its roster of events and promotions for May, which includes Cinco de Mayo celebrations, a unique Mother’s Day special, tempting, limited-edition dishes, as well as featured cocktails.
Meanwhile, players will want to ensure they enroll in SAHARA’s Infinity Rewards membership program to take advantage of the casino’s May gaming promotions.

HOCKEY PLAYOFFS AT CHICKIE’S & PETE’S Hockey fans are invited to cheer on their favorite teams during playoffs beginning on Monday, May 2. Chickie’s and Pete’s will serve their classic elevated bar cuisine and broadcasting all hockey playoff games.
KENTUCKY DERBY VIEWINGS Chickie’s & Pete’s On Saturday, May 7, Chickie’s & Pete’s will host a live coverage viewing of the Kentucky Derby, starting at 3:45 p.m. The sports bar will be offering a $10 special on Woodford Reserve Mint Juleps and will offer a limited-edition engraved bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey for $70, while supplies last.
AZILO Ultra Pool From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, guests are invited to a one-of-a-kind derby viewing party at AZILO Ultra Pool. The event will feature live coverage of the derby on the 240-foot LED video wall, performances by DJs Roger Gangi and FlowFly, Old Forester Bourbon Kentucky Peach Mojitos, a poolside “Turtle Derby” tournament and more. CINCO DE MAYO CELEBRATION AT UNO MÁS Uno Más Street Tacos + Spirits will feature a Mariachi band and tempting food specials in celebration of Cinco de Mayo on Thursday, May 5. The Mariachi band will be playing from 7 to 8 p.m. while the food specials will be active from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Visitors can savor delicious birria tacos for $5 each or enjoy a tempting Dole Whip Margarita plus a taco of their choice for $15.
MOTHER’S DAY SPECIAL AT AMINA SPA In celebration of Mother’s Day, Amina Spa will offer moms fresh-baked shortbread cookies as a special treat, provided with any spa treatment of their choice from May 7 to 8.
NATIONAL SHRIMP DAY Chickie’s & Pete’s In celebration of National Shrimp Day, visitors are invited to enjoy Chickie’s & Pete’s Shrimp Trio on Tuesday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For $16, guests will receive Chickie’s-style hot shrimp, cold shrimp and fried shrimp.
Zeffer’s Café At Zeffer’s Café on Tuesday, May 10 from 6 a.m. to noon, guests can enjoy the venue’s shrimp omelet for $17 in celebration of National Shrimp Day.
NATIONAL MIMOSA DAY AT THE TANGIER From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, May 16, guests can enjoy all-you-can-drink mimosas at The Tangier for $30.
PREAKNESS STAKES VIEWING AT CHICKIE’S & PETE’S On Saturday, May 21, Chickie’s and Pete’s will host live coverage of the renowned American thoroughbred horse race beginning at 1:30 p.m. Additionally, the sports bar will offer a special on the Black-Eyed Susan, the official drink of the Preakness Stakes, for $10. The spirited cocktail includes bourbon, vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and sour mix garnished with an orange slice and maraschino cherry.
NATIONAL BURGER DAY AT CHICKIE’S & PETE’S On Saturday, May 28 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., guests are invited to savor the Crabby Burger made with an 8-ounce smashed burger patty, cheddar cheese, fried crab mac and cheese, sweet heat sauce, bacon and tomato for $18.

Chickie’s and Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar Available from May 1 through 31, Chickie’s and Pete’s will offer the Spicy Southwest Burger as its burger of the month. Including a smashed burger patty, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, chipotle crema, sliced jalapeños and crispy tortilla strips, this burger will be available for $18.
CASINO PROMOTIONS Birthday Kiosk Game Infinity Rewards Members can swipe at the kiosk during their birthday month for a chance to receive prizes such as free slot play, point grants and dining credits.
Infinity Rewards New Member Kicker Upon signing up for a new card, all new Infinity Rewards Members may earn points for additional prizes including up to $150 in free slot play.
May Sunday 10x Multiplier Infinity Rewards Members can receive 10x points on reels every Sunday in May from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Guests must swipe at the kiosk to redeem the multiplier.
SAHARA $90,000 GR8 BMW Giveaway From May 1 through June 25, Infinity Rewards Members can earn giveaway entries daily playing video poker, video reels, video keno, slot machines and table games. 10 Lucky giveaway winners will be announced every Saturday in May and June. Flower Power Wednesday Weekly Slot Tournament From May 4 to 25, Infinity Rewards Members can earn up to three tournament entries for 250 slot base points every Wednesday from 1 to 7 p.m. Base slot points must be earned on the same day as the tournament is played. The top 10 players with the highest scores will share $2,500 in Slot Play.
