Once Upon a Nail Salon Combines Enchantment with Services in Lake Las Vegas

Kendra Daniels shares her many talents as a singer and entrepreneur with her latest venture—the opening of Once Upon a Nail Salon in the Village at Lake Las Vegas.

The unique salon experience is designed for clients to immerse themselves in an enchanting ambiance.

Once Upon a Nail Salon, located in the village of Lake Las Vegas, will offer a unique salon experience in an enchanting, fairytale atmosphere. Owners, Kendra Daniels and Justice Carey are excited to bring their distinctive magic to Lake Las Vegas. A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 4:30pm to 7 p.m. on April 16. Joining the festivities will be mystical creatures with entertainment by The Kendra Daniels Band on the Lake Las Vegas water stage. Champagne and hors d’oeuvres will also be served.

In the spirit of giving back, Kendra and Justice plan to donate 5% of their first week’s proceeds to Autism Awareness, a cause very near and dear to their hearts, each having family members on the autism spectrum.

“I absolutely love living in Lake Las Vegas,” Kendra comments. “There is a wonderful sense of community and belonging here. Having played on the lake with my band, The Kendra Daniels Band, for many years now, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many great, caring people.” Justice is excited to be part of the business growth in the village, with several new businesses opening recently. “I love that we’re offering such a unique experience right here in our community. Lake Las Vegas is growing rapidly, and it’s exciting to be a part of this growth.”

Her goal is for every client to feel like they are in a fairy tale with three tiers of services. The Goddess Manicure focuses on women, The Knights Manicure services men and children can enjoy the Prince or Princess Manicure. One can select manicures, pedicures, and acrylic services, including gel, dip, and IBX.

Kendra and Justice, Lake Las Vegas locals, opened Once Upon an Escape, immersive fairytale-themed escape rooms located in Las Vegas, in 2019, winning the 2021 Best of Las Vegas gold award for best escape room – each of the puzzle escape rooms is themed and decorated to fit the storyline of some of the most beloved fairytales. They are looking to continue making magic with this exciting new venture, which will be another family-owner, family run business, with Mom, Kim, as CFO, and sister, Keira, as lead receptionist.

She also competed in Season 13 of America’s Got Talent as part of a singer and acrobatic dance duo, Kendra Daniels & Kenton Russi. While they were eliminated early in the competition, she has continued her singing career in Southern Nevada.
