New York-New York Hotel & Casino celebrated the luck of the Irish at its annual Celtic Feis festival on March 17 with leprechauns, stilt walkers and live entertainment.
Thursday’s festivities kicked off with a jovial parade led by a traditional Irish pipe band through New York-New York and culminated on the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.
Following the lively procession, the green-clad crowd was greeted with a Guinness toast by James Healey, Director of Hotel Operations at New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
“We love that Celtic Feis has become a St. Patrick’s Day tradition for locals and visiting guests alike, and we’re so proud of the event we delivered this year,” said Mike Neubecker, President & COO of New York-New York & MGM Grand.
During the all-day celebration, festivalgoers gathered on the Brooklyn Bridge to watch musical performances by Sin E Ri Ra, Jimmy Denning’s Celtic Nation, and Celtic Chaos. Guests also indulged in traditional Irish fare from Nine Fine Irishmen, including shepherd’s pie, corned beef & cabbage, and more.
