Universal Attractions Agency will bring The I Love the 90’s Tour back to select stages this year, including The AMP at Craig Ranch in North Las Vegas.
Featuring headliner Vanilla Ice, the tour will additionally host a revolving lineup of 90’s hit makers including Rob Base, Color Me Badd, Young MC and more. Tickets are on sale now at www.ilovethe90stour.com.
“With the addition of The I Love the 90’s Tour to the 2022 concert lineup, we are proving that The AMP at Craig Ranch is a concert venue worthy of nationally-known powerhouse musicians,” said Steve Manley, General Manager of The AMP.
After the global pandemic put live events on hold for over a year, The I Love the 90’s Tour is excited to return to the touring space. Several shows have been confirmed for this summer, a strong indication that the touring circuit is beginning to come back to life. “Dates are being added as we speak”, according to Jeff Allen, co-owner of Universal Attractions and co-creator of the tour. “When the phones started ringing again it was clear what the fans wanted coming out of the shutdown, and it’s The I Love the 90’s Tour.”
“Ice is back, and so is The I Love the 90’s Tour,” confirms the tour’s headliner, Vanilla Ice. “We’re gonna be hitting your town LIVE and IN PERSON this summer, so you better get in where you fit in and get back to the 90’s where the party never stopped!”
This is the latest edition of the blockbuster throwback tour which launched in 2016 and was “an instant hit” according to Rolling Stone. The tour has been highlighted on a myriad of other major media outlets over the years including a Today Show takeover 2 years in a row, Pitbull’s New Year’s Eve on Fox and Good Morning America. The concept also held a Las Vegas residency in 2016, and over 300 tour dates, landing it on the top grossing tours list ahead of some of today’s biggest acts, according to Pollstar Magazine.
“As a company we are excited to get back to work and book shows again, but more than anything we are thrilled to see how ready people are to get back out there and see shows like The I Love the 90’s Tour,” said Jeff Epstein, co-owner of UAA and the other co-creator of the tour. “No doubt this is a show that fans will be clamoring for as they dust off their Cross Colours. It’s 1995 all over again. Hard to believe the 90’s were a simpler time, isn’t it?”
