Real Vegas Magazine will be hosting its first annual Real Vegas Prom, which will include a vote for royal prom court and a silent auction, proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada.
Real Vegas Magazine is thrilled to announce it will be hosting its first annual Real Vegas Prom on Friday, February 18 from 6 p.m to 9 p.m.
The event will be held at the Emerald at Queensridge, located at 891 S. Rampart Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89145, and will feature a formal sit-down dinner, live entertainment, and a red carpet event with professional photographer.
Jennifer Romas, Producer and Choreographer of Sexxy The Show and Rico Bozant, Professional Fighter and Celebrity Trainer, will act as hosts for the star-studded evening as they announce the various categories highlighting Las Vegas’ most notable individuals. Master Magician Seth Grabel will also make an appearance for a short live performance and to do walk-around magic near the guests.
In addition to the main dinner event, Real Vegas Prom will also host a silent auction, proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. “We are thrilled to be the benefiting charity for this exciting inaugural event,” said Scott Rosenzweig, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada. “Our mission to grant the wish of every eligible child in Southern Nevada wouldn’t be possible without the help of supportive partners in our community, like Real Vegas Magazine.” Silent auction items include an all-inclusive trip for 8 to Belize, and a basketball signed by Kobe Bryant, among other items.
Real Vegas Magazine is doing partnerships with several local businesses in anticipation of Real Vegas Prom. One of the event partners is STITCHED, the high-end men’s suits boutique. Men who make a purchase at the Tivoli Village location will receive 35% off when they mention Real Vegas Prom. All male attendees will receive a swag bag at the event, with STITCHED providing one of the items.
For the ladies, both Malandra Boutique and Anne Fontaine are offering 20% off their gowns for the event, as well as providing a purse for the raffle, separate from the silent auction.
“With the challenges the last 2 years have brought us all, Real Vegas wanted to host an incredible kickoff event for 2022 and thought how fun would it be to have an adult prom?” said Candice Wiener, publisher of Real Vegas Magazine. “We decided to start working on planning our 1st Annual Real Vegas Prom for an iconic, red-carpet event for Las Vegas locals and business professionals to attend and incorporate nominations for the Real Vegas Royalty Court and the Real Vegas Prom Awards with fun voting for awards like: Most Likely to Cure a Disease, Best Dancer, Best Dressed, Most Likely to Win the Lottery, Then Lose the Ticket, and much more! Our hopes are that Las Vegas locals will come together for a fun and safe community event and celebrate a night they won’t forget!”
