Students interested in applying should visit www.rapalv.com and complete the Audition Request Form by Saturday, Feb. 26. To learn more about the program and how to apply, 45-minute virtual information sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, 6 p.m. on Feb. 9 and 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 16. Details on how to attend the sessions are available on RAPA’s website.
“The partnership with RAPA has allowed us to offer up challenging academics and a state-of-the-art music program to high school students, all under the same roof,” said Kyle Konold, PhD., superintendent of The Delta Academy. “The program’s inaugural year saw great success, thanks in part to RAPA’s advisors and staff who have more than 160 years of combined professional experience spanning the music industry.”
RAPA focuses on instrumental and vocal conservatories including contemporary musical performance and theory for vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, piano, drums, percussion and more in the genre they choose such as Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Country Jazz and DJ/EDM.
This year, RAPA is expanding to include rock-industry vocational technology conservatories for students interested in sound/audio, lighting, videography, stage handling and management. Forward looking, RAPA plans to add a musical theater conservatory, tapping into vocal/acting, art direction and production and acrobatic artistry.
