End 2021 on a high note at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod with a countdown celebration in the SkyPod, specialty cocktails at 108 Drinks, featured menus at Top of the World, McCall’s Heartland Grill and STRAT Café, fireworks and stunning views of the Las Vegas Valley, beginning Friday, Dec. 31.
A New Year’s Eve party will be held in The STRAT’s indoor SkyPod on Friday, Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. To kick off the celebration, The STRAT will offer festive party hats and favors, plus live music by DJ Day Won throughout the evening. Signature food and beverage selections will be available for purchase at 108 Eats, as well as featured cocktails at 108 Drinks, including Je Ne Sais Quoi, mixed with champagne, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and thyme; and Savoir Faire, crafted with champagne, Grand Marnier and pomegranate juice, priced at $22 each. In addition to extravagant, panoramic views of fireworks throughout the Las Vegas Valley, The STRAT will provide its own dazzling firework display, capturing a picturesque setting to ring in the new year. Top of the World, The STRAT’s iconic rotating restaurant, will offer its traditional à la carte menu for early dining with a minimum purchase of $155 per person from 3:45 to 7:30 p.m. and a featured prix fixe menu with prices starting at $360 per person, beginning at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, where guests will enjoy a breathtaking view of firework displays later in the evening. Served with an amuse- bouche, the five-course, prix fixe meal will include charred ancho tuna served with whipped avocado mousse and mango salad, drizzled with Serrano and honey vinaigrette; diver caught uni and white miso bisque, complete with ginger scented king crab and ossetra caviar; fume poached shellfish with coconut and taro cake, presented with Trinidadian callaloo and taro chips; a choice of smoked tenderloin of beef with Mongolian steak sauce, braised mushrooms and bok choy served with a side of truffle fried rice or roasted monkfish with tortilla de patatas and puttaneska, served with paprika oil; and the chef’s selection of desserts for the grand finale.
A three-course, prix fixe New Year’s feast will be offered at McCall’s Heartland Grill, priced at $75 per person from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 through Sunday, Jan. 2. Menu selections will include heirloom lettuce salad, tossed with roasted pear and parsnip, toasted marcona almonds and topped with honey spiced vinaigrette; beef tenderloin, served with Alaskan crab legs, lemon and drawn butter and presented with baked potato and asparagus; and the chocolate duet, a decadent chocolate creation for dessert.
Featured à la carte selections will be available at STRAT Café, open 24 hours, from Friday, Dec. 31 to Saturday, Jan. 1. The menu will include a locally grown, organic greens salad, tossed with tomato, cucumber, red onion, fennel roasted beets and drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette, priced at $10; grilled filet mignon with cilantro pesto prawns, served with pommes Anna, creamed spinach and sliced baby carrots, priced at $45; and chocolate raspberry decadence, baked with warm chocolate and drizzled in Grand Marnier sauces, priced at $11.
