For the highly-anticipated Sunday professional football game, a group of former players reunited at The Book inside The LINQ Hotel + Experience for a star-studded watch party. Many of the players were in the league together either as teammates or opponents, but in retirement found themselves in the same huddle.
The full roster of players in attendance included:
- Ray Crockett: 14-year professional football veteran, 2x Big Game Champion
- Clinton Portis (Not Pictured): 9-year professional football veteran, 2x Pro Bowler, NCAA National Champion
- Major Wright: 7-year professional football veteran, NCAA National Champion
Wright was also on-site to sign copies of his new book, “Major Pain: Confessions of a Smash-Mouth Safety.” The group enjoyed food and drinks while sharing stories from their playing days. The former players bonded over shared experiences from their time in league. While it was unclear which teams the players were rooting for, they enjoyed each other’s company with a front row seat to the action at their private fan caves on The Strip.
The Book at The LINQ is home to safely distanced fan cave living rooms, offering the best viewing in the city. These fan caves allow guests to take control of their experience—complete with an XBOX, virtual reality headsets, a tablet to order food and drinks from Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar, and a 98” screen with the ability to watch up to six games simultaneously. With limited attendance and capacity restrictions for live events at stadiums, gamedays at The Book offer a uniquely immersive experience for fans to cheer on their teams in a fun, but safe and controlled environment.
