Tyrell to Present Annual New Year’s Eve New York Show in Las Vegas
Grammy winner Steve Tyrell this year will present his annual Café Carlyle New Year’s Eve show at the Copa in the Bootlegger Italian Bistro, Las Vegas South Strip. The show will feature “An Evening with Steve Tyrell,” with excerpts from Tyrell’s, album, “Shades of Ray, The Songs of Ray Charles.”
“Steve Tyrell is a superb artist and we look forward to his upcoming New Year’s Eve performance at the Copa,” said Ronnie Mancuso, producer and chief operating officer for the family-owned Bootlegger Bistro & Copa Las Vegas. “This will be a perfect room for him. With the ambiance of venues of the past, the Copa Las Vegas creates an intimacy that allows a performer like Steve the chance to ‘touch the soul’ of the audience in a way unparalleled in a larger venue. The room has developed organically and my family and I are proud to be able to present special performances with great artists like Steve.”
Tyrell has achieved success as a singer, songwriter, producer and more recently, radio host on KJAZZ in Southern California. He helped shepherd nearly a dozen Grammy-winning albums and songs during his career as a producer, contributing to big hits with such legendary artists as Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt and Stevie Wonder.
