Sizzling Las Vegas Revue Celebrates the Show’s Most Awarded Year to Date
FANTASY at Luxor Hotel and Casino celebrated its 22nd anniversary and the show’s most awarded year in the show’s history at last night’s 8 p.m. show. The dazzling female revue also announced two new numbers, including a rousing new finale set to “Last Dance” that had the audience on its feet.
In the past year, alone, FANTASY was awarded the show’s first gold award for “Best Production Show” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” in 2020 and “Best Production Show – Readers’ Choice” by Las Vegas Weekly. FANTASY also won “All-Time Best Female Revue” by Las Vegas Weekly and “Best Female Revue” by “Best of Las Vegas.” The show’s dynamic singer and headliner, Lorena Peril, was recently awarded “Best Local Entertainer” by the Silver State Awards.
To commemorate the occasion, FANTASY’s stunning showgirls posed for photographs on stage in the Atrium Showroom and shared a sneak peek of their new 2022 “Gold Standard” calendar. The cast was joined by Anita Mann, the producer, director and Emmy award-winning choreographer of FANTASY; Oscar Picazo, renown photographer behind FANTASY’s “Gold Standard” calendar; Patrick Rivera, celebrity and influencer photographer; Murray SawChuck, headliner of “Murray the Magician” at Tropicana Las Vegas and guest star in FANTASY, along with his assistant and new wife, Dani Elizabeth; Tiger Martina, esteemed choreographer; Clifton Murray and Victor Micallef of The Tenors; Banachek, headliner of “Banachek’s Mind Games Live” at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod; and Vinny Grosso, headliner of Notoriety’s “Totally Mental.”
Chuck Bowling, COO of Mandalay Bay and Luxor, welcomed the audience and introduced Mann, who shared her gratitude for the cast, crew and fans of FANTASY. It was also revealed that MGM Resorts Foundation is the recipient of an annual donation from sales of FANTASY’s “Gold Standard” 2022 calendar.
During the sizzling anniversary performance, Peril stunned the audience with her powerhouse vocals, alongside the cast of talented dancers. FANTASY’s guest act and stand-up comedian, Shayma Tash, had the crowd erupting with laughter with her hilarious quick wit. The steamy production also included two new numbers, each sung by Peril, including “Proud Mary,” choreographed by dance captain, Yesi Burgess, and “Last Dance,” choreographed by Martina.
