Grand Canal Shoppes and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas team up with beloved restaurants to create a one-of-a-kind offering to benefit the fight to end hunger in Southern Nevada
Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas announced today an exciting new project in partnership with Three Square and The Venetian Resort. Launching just in time for Hunger Action Month, the destination makes an effort to stand against hunger and support Southern Nevada’s only food bank and largest hunger relief organization with an exclusive eCookbook offering.
The iconic destination teamed up with its premier culinary lineup to compile the best dishes into a digital cookbook, allowing guests to take their tasty travels home all while supporting a wonderful cause. The eCookbook features chef-curated recipes from 22 world-class restaurants found at beloved dining destinations such as Estiatorio Milos, Delmonico Steakhouse by Emeril Lagasse, America’s Steakhouse Smith & Wollensky, and many more.
Featuring over 30 items, the eCookbook offers indulgent recipes including an array of appetizers, main dishes, desserts and cocktails, allowing the chef of the house to show off their skills for their family and friends. Guests will have the opportunity to prepare cherished dishes from their favorite restaurants such as the delectable Coffee and Cocoa Rubbed Filet Mignon from Smith & Wollensky, the mouthwatering Moqueca Mista from SushiSamba, the renowned Ginger Glazed Salmon from Tao Asian Bistro, the delightful Banana Cream Pie from Delmonico Steakhouse, and many more.
Adding to the offering, the cocktail collection will bring out the mixologist in everyone as they recreate thirst quenching drinks such as the flavorful Strawberry Balsamic Cocktail from Sugarcane and succulent Smashed Pomegranate Cocktail from Estiatorio Milos. Each recipe represents a special part of the iconic dining destination that will bring out the inner chef in everyone. The eCookbook includes precise details of ingredients and descriptive instructions that are enhanced with unique culinary factoids, allowing guests to recreate their favorite dishes in the comfort of their own homes.
“We are so excited to work with our teams to create a unique opportunity that supports Three Square, a wonderful organization that provides continuous support to our communities every day,” said Janet LaFevre, senior marketing manager at Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian Resort. “This eCookbook is a fun and engaging opportunity for guests to take a piece of the beloved Shoppes and The Venetian Resort home with them, all while giving back to the community in a great way.”
The Las Vegas community has been greatly affected by the dire economic impacts of COVID-19, and for the past year Three Square has focused their efforts on emergency food distribution to assist the high records of food insecurity in the valley. To provide additional support, Grand Canal Shoppes and The Venetian Resort rallied its restaurants to participate in this initiative to benefit Three Square in its fight to end hunger in Southern Nevada. 100% of the proceeds from the eCookbook sales will be donated to Three Square to continue their fight.
“We are so thankful to the Grand Canal Shoppes and The Venetian Resort for their incredible commitment to ending hunger in our community,” said Brian Burton, president and CEO at Three Square Food Bank. “Every one dollar donated to Three Square creates three wholesome meals. When you purchase this eCookbook, you will be providing 30 meals for the one in six Southern Nevadans facing food insecurity. This unique initiative proves when great ideas are combined with kindness and generosity, we can provide even more food—one of life’s most basic essentials—to families and individuals in need.”
The eCookbook will be available for purchase for $10 for the rest of the year, just in time for the holidays. To learn how to purchase the eCookbook and get more information about Three Square, visit https://threesquare.org/ecookbook.
