Last Thursday, the highly-anticipated annual Vegas Golden Knights Fan Fest returned to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center for a night packed with excitement.
This free, all-ages event attracted hundreds of the biggest “Vegas Born” fans in the city, and the highlight of their evening was definitely when their idols, the players themselves, hit the stage to greet the wild crowd. Some VGK fan favorites to attend DLVEC included: William Karlsson, Alex Tuch, Reilly Smith, Robin Lehner, and more.
Following the Fan Fest, sixteen of the talented hockey players headed down Fremont Street Experience to the brand new Circa Resort & Casino, where they dined at the renowned celebrity hotspot, Barry’s Downtown Prime. Many of the guys were joined by their significant others, as they were all seated at an extra-long, star-studded table within the vintage yet modern restaurant. The team members and their lovely ladies were eager to sink their teeth into some of the most delicious sizzling steaks, pastas, and desserts they have ever ordered. That’s saying a lot, considering these VIP guests have visited countless Vegas eateries.
In exciting news, Barry’s Downtown Prime has been named the official steakhouse for the Vegas Golden Knights in a sponsorship deal that will run through 2024. This means that Circa Resort & Casino is sure to expect more of the popular players refueling at their iconic restaurant during the upcoming hockey season.
Five VGK members (Chandler Stephenson, Reilly Smith, Shea Theodore, Zach Whitecloud, and Alex Tuch) were spotted making it official. They met with the steakhouse’s co-owner/namesake, Chef Barry S. Dakake, along with co-owners Yassine Lyoubi and Marco Cicione, to secure the partnership with a few signatures and a welcoming handshake.
Chef Barry proudly stated, “We are thrilled to kick off this partnership with such a beloved team… the Vegas Golden Knights play a pivotal role in our community, and we couldn’t be happier to be their home away from the ice.”
The city of Las Vegas can’t wait to see what’ll be in store between the VGK and Barry’s Downtown Prime this season. Go Knights Go!
