“POPOVICH: Road to Hollywood” Tonight at Art Houz Theaters
Tonight (August 23), “Popovich: Road to Hollywood” is premiering in Las Vegas, at the new Art Houz Theater in the Las Vegas Arts District.
The film world is already buzzing over this modern-day classic: the film won Best Family Feature at the Calcutta Film Festival and is an Official Selection competing in the Dances With Film Festival at the famous Chinese Theater in Hollywood in September.
This film was created on location all over Las Vegas, featuring a cast of Las Vegas performers. It was directed and produced by Las Vegas’ very own Light Forge Studios, the award-winning team of Thompson brothers who are staples of the local independent film scene.
Gregory Popovich is a 4th generation circus performer originally from Russia, but has been performing in Las Vegas since moving here in 1992. His one-man show ‘Comedy Pet Theater’ has been playing at Planet Hollywood since 2005. Popovich is known as an animal lover who trains rescue animals exclusively using positive reinforcement. The Las Vegas Premiere is happening in association with the Animal Foundation, who will have representatives in the lobby of the theater.

Art Houz is a movie theater, entertainment and event space located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas and the Arts District, includes Fantasy Football Draft Parties, and a restaurant with savory cuisine including dishes, Ahi Tuna, Chicken Lollipopz, Charcuterie, Flatbreads, Sea Bass, Filet Mignon. Located at 814 S. 3rd Street Las Vegas, NV 89101, the restaurant is open 3pm – Midnight, the theaters, 2pm – Midnight (Thursday – Sunday) and features Karaoke Night every Friday and Saturday of August and brunch 9am-2pm every Saturday and Sunday.
