A fortunate guest at The Orleans Hotel and Casino hit Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot on Wednesday, July 21, winning him more than $119,000.
The Las Vegas local, who requested to remain anonymous, was playing Face Up Pai Gow Poker when he hit a seven-card straight flush with a joker, capturing a Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot of $119,663.03. He also placed a dragon bonus side bet that won him $5,000.
Six Boyd Gaming destinations participated in the Company’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive, including The Orleans, Gold Coast, Aliante, Cannery, Sam’s Town and Suncoast. By offering the Pai Gow Poker progressive at multiple destinations citywide, players have a shot at winning a much larger jackpot than individual properties could offer.
Another recent win took place on June 18 when another Las Vegas local scored a Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot of more than $85,000 at The Orleans. On June 13, a guest at Aliante won a Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot of $92,993. The player also placed a fortune bonus side bet that won him an extra $21,186. In total, the guest won more than $114,000 during his visit to Aliante.
The properties’ Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot has reset at more than $57,000.
