This weekend, Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub welcomed superstars Juicy J, Big Sean and Nelly as they made their grand return to the Drai’s LIVE stage with their first live shows in more than a year.
Delivering their biggest hits, plus special tributes to late legendary rappers Biz Markie and Nipsey Hussle, thousands of fans, including basketball stars Jalen Rose, Draymond Green, Josh Smith, Jayson Tatum, and Austin Daye came out to celebrate.
Rapper and producer Juicy J kicked off the electrifying weekend on Friday, July 16 with a hits-packed setlist including fan-favorites like “Bounce It” and “Bandz Make Her Dance,” as well as his Grammy-nominated collaboration “Dark Horse” with Katy Perry and “Stay Fly” with Three 6 Mafia. Paying tribute to Biz Markie, the American rap legend who had passed away earlier that day, Juicy J performed his iconic hit, “Just A Friend.”
On Saturday, July 17, in his first-ever performance since the coronavirus shutdown, multi-platinum artist Big Sean had the crowd on their feet for his smash hits “Bounce Back,” “Wolves,” “Why Would I Stop?” and paid homage to the late, legendary Nipsey Hussle. Basketball stars Jalen Rose and Draymond Green came to Drai’s to witness Big Sean’s return to the stage.
To close out the weekend, best-selling rap artist Nelly gave an outstanding performance on Sunday, July 18. He performed hit after hit, including “Ride Wit Me,” “Hot in Here,” “Air Force Ones,” and “Country Grammar.” In another star-studded night for the world of basketball, the audience included NBA players Jason Tatum, Josh Smith and Austin Daye.
