In partnership with Findlay Volkswagen, the 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is the Las Vegas home for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournaments
HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas and Allied Esports will celebrate the 100th Saturday Night Speedway (SNS) tournament, featuring Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, on Saturday, May 15.
During Saturday’s event, presented by Findlay Volkswagen, guests will experience a special edition of the popular Saturday Night Speedway tournament featuring a $1,000 prize pool and a Mario Kart costume contest where the best dressed will take home $250. The winners of the previous 99 Saturday Night Speedway events will be celebrated on stage and in the Arena’s Championship Circle. The event will be broadcasted live on twitch.tv/Allied Esports starting at 7 p.m. PT.
Since opening in March 2018, the Arena has transcended the city’s esports community and welcomed gamers of all ages and families in for Saturday Night Speedway tournaments. The weekly event began in August 2018 and has awarded more than $57,000 in prize money to participants. HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas uses 30 multi-use cameras, including robotic, polecam, handhelds and POV; four studio control rooms with 30+ production stations; and commercial audio, video and lighting during every event to showcase the players, creating what has become the most exhilarating night in esports in Las Vegas.
