Event brings Boys & Girls Clubs youth and community together for a carnival of fun and learning
The 43rd Annual Kids Day Out brings Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada youth together with mentors, volunteers and business organizations for a day of fun, food and games. Kids Day Out is actively looking for community partners and corporate sponsors to financial sponsorships, activity stations, in-kind donations, and/or booth volunteers.
This event takes place Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lied Memorial Clubhouse, 2850 Lindell Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89146, and provides a unique opportunity to interact with Club members and impact them in a meaningful way.
Groups of adults are paired with youth, ages 8-12, to enjoy outdoor games, entertainment, food and prizes at the Lied Memorial Clubhouse. Designed for fun, interactivity, and learning experiences, activities are staged at various stations that coincide with Club programming covering career exposure, arts, education, sports and recreation, leadership and service, and health and wellness.
Stations include: sports competitions, a friendship bracelet station, oversized Jenga, STEM Projects, and more. Las Vegas Metro and Fire Department and other first responders will be in attendance to highlight their organizations and career paths to the youth.
Current sponsors include: Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation, Kichler, Southwest Gas Foundation, America First Credit Union, Cox, Caesars Foundation and NV Energy Foundation.
