Honorary Head Coach: Jerrie Merritt, Nevada State Bank Announces Super Week Events
Huddle Up has announced its 2024 networking kick-off event on January 17, at Worre Studios, hosted by the NFL Alumni Chapter, with the primary aim of raising funds and awareness for the “Caring for Kids” program.
Huddle Up was designed to grow local business in a fun and competitive way, to transform the traditional networking event model and encourage meaningful interactions, including insights to philanthropy, business speed dating, lasting relationships and access to community resources.
This event uniquely brings together esteemed NFL Alumni, enterprise members, local businesses, organizations, and government agencies and introduces a gamified approach to networking, ensuring that it’s engaging, productive, and unforgettable, fostering a passion for community involvement and partnerships.
“The Huddle Up Challenge is not your average competition – it’s a unique opportunity to combine team-building, fun, and philanthropy. In addition to providing value to attendees, Huddle Up contributes to the greater good by raising funds for local community initiatives and charities supported by the NFL Alumni Chapter, says NFL Alumni Vegas Chapter President, Morton Greenwood. “At each event, we highlight businesses, have a featured Head Coach, honor an MVP and offer incredible prizes including: 2 tickets to the Vegas Golden Knights, Silver Knights and Las Vegas Desert Dogs, plus car and security service, and business and restaurant gift cards.”
Event Agenda: Game Schedule at Worre Studios:
4:30 PM: Pre-Game

All participants engage in a series of interactive challenges that promote collaboration, creativity, and friendly competition, where every challenge conquered will contribute directly to our fundraising efforts for five incredible local children’s charities. Each event offers four zones, Connect, Refresh, Money and Finance, to encourage teamwork and creativity to showcase skills, strategize with fellow players and seize the opportunity to develop potential business relationships, all while scoring points. Beginning with a Huddle Up at the Sports Desk at Center Field to meet the head coaches, the event continues with networking, a halftime show and post-game report, announcing a Most Valuable Player. Guests can also score points by getting a taste of Las Vegas, with tasty local restaurants, such as Unique Eats, in the Refresh Zone.
