The city of Las Vegas invites the community to the 2024 Las Vegas Bluegrass Festival scheduled 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 13, in Centennial Hills Park. The park is located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive.
Hosted by the city of Las Vegas, the festival is free and open to the public of all ages. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Children will be able to enjoy a festival area designed just for them, with games, make-and-take projects and activities programmed for youth throughout the festival. Guests are encouraged to bring low-back chairs and blankets to be more comfortable on the outdoor lawn seating.
Rhonda Vincent, the Queen of Bluegrass, will take the stage at 5:45 p.m., closing out a lineup featuring some of the nation’s best bluegrass and Americana bands. Vincent is a Missouri native, singer, songwriter and multi-instrument musician. Her career began as a child in her family’s band, The Sally Mountain Show.
Now more than five decades later, she is a Grammy Award winner for Best Bluegrass Album (2018), a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and has earned multiple awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association and the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America.
Kody Norris (guitar and vocals), Josiah Tyree (banjo), Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris (fiddle) and Charlie Lowman (bass) make up The Kody Norris Show that serves up classic bluegrass music with rhinestones and fringe.
The four-man Blue Canyon Boys ― Gary Dark (mandolin), Jason Hicks (guitar), Drew Garrett (bass) and Chris Roszell (banjo) ― bring their high-octane Colorado bluegrass harmonies.
All three bands will be highlights of the festival schedule below:

Festival attendees will not be allowed to bring in outside food or alcohol.
