The grand opening of Groot Hospitality venues, Komodo, Papi Steak and LIV Las Vegas at the new luxury resort, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, was a star-studded affair as Miami’s best descended on the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Special guests, including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Michael Bay, Anitta, Ivanka Trump and more gathered to celebrate alongside David Grutman for the debut of Groot Hospitality in Las Vegas.
Guests danced to live entertainment and enjoyed sampling of signature items and cocktails from Komodo and Papi Steak.
Following the grand opening celebration, guests danced the night away at LIV, Las Vegas’ iteration of the world-famous nightclub and enjoyed sounds by Peggy Gou.

Komodo is renowned for its Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, inventive cocktails, eye-catching decor and vibrant social atmosphere. As in Miami and Dallas, Komodo Las Vegas’ menu offers mouthwatering takes on Southeast Asian dishes, all of which have been developed and interpreted with a global approach.
The result is an unforgettable culinary adventure, with options ranging from regularly rotating specials to house favorites such as signature Peking Duck, Salmon Tacos, Lobster Dynamite and daring Plant Based Kung Pao Chicken.
A full sushi bar is also included, while bespoke custom cocktails add lively and exclusive beverage options. Komodo Las Vegas was designed by Rockwell Group, a globally renowned architecture and design firm.
The brainchild of David “Papi” Einhorn and David Grutman, Papi Steak fuses Golden Era Hollywood swagger with modern, globetrotting energy to create an entirely new steakhouse experience.
Papi Steak will offer signature cuts and preparations, including the famed Beefcase, a 55-oz. Wagyu tomahawk presented in a gold-lined and sparkler-clad attaché.
Additional menu highlights include Roasted Bone Marrow, Truffle Kosher Chicken and the signature Papi Steak – a 33 oz. Glatt Kosher Tomahawk served with David ‘Papi’ Einhorn’s secret sauce.
LIV Las Vegas, the globally acclaimed nightlife experience created by hospitality pioneer David Grutman of Groot Hospitality. The first expansion of the iconic LIV Miami Beach, LIV Las Vegas has tapped some of music’s hottest acts as resident performers, including John Summit and Metro Boomin.
