A California visitor, who plans to move to Las Vegas, received a special welcome to the city by winning Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot of more than $182,000 at Gold Coast Hotel and Casino on Wednesday, March 24.
The fortunate guest, who requested to remain anonymous, was playing Pai Gow Poker at 11 p.m. and won the regional linked progressive jackpot of $182,148 after hitting a seven-card straight flush, making the visit an unforgettable experience.
Six Boyd Gaming destinations participated in the Company’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive, including Gold Coast, The Orleans, Aliante, Suncoast, Sam’s Town and Cannery. By offering the Pai Gow Poker progressive at multiple destinations citywide, players have a shot at winning a much larger jackpot than individual properties could offer.
The properties’ Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot has reset at $75,000.
This is the fifth time a guest has won Boyd Gaming’s regional linked Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot in the past six months, with a total of nearly $1.5 million awarded. Another recent win took place on February 22 when a B Connected member from Massachusetts hit a seven-card straight flush, capturing a Pai Gow Poker progressive jackpot of more than $185,000 at The Orleans Hotel and Casino.
