Eva Longoria Celebrates F1 in Vegas with a “Shoey” at Bellagio During Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix

Notable Sightings Include Haas’ Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg; Alfa Romeo’s Valterri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu; David Chang of Momofuku; Chefs Bryan and Michael Voltaggio

Actress and entrepreneur Eva Longoria was the toast of the town for the first night of the inaugural FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX. 

Longoria immersed herself in racing tradition by enjoying a “Shoey” from the MGM Rewards Shoey Bar at Bellagio Resort & Casino.

Known as a way to celebrate winning a big race, Longoria joined fans at the pop-up experience to drink a cocktail crafted from her Casa Del Sol tequila and served out of an actual Sparco racing shoe.

MGM Resorts celebrated the beginning to an unprecedented weekend for Las Vegas with a range of events at its properties and special activations featuring appearances from Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg; Alfa Romeo’s Valterri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu; and Chefs David Chang and Michael and Bryan Voltaggio.

Highlights include:

• Eva Longoria at the MGM Rewards Shoey Bar: Located in the Bellagio’s Fountain Courtyard – and just steps away from the Bellagio Fountain Club – Eva Longoria took part in an iconic tradition of racing heroes podium celebration. During the event, Longoria enjoyed a cocktail crafted from her own Casa Del Sol tequila from an impeccably designed MGM-branded leather racing shoe.
• Chefs David Chang and Voltaggio Brothers Dish at Bellagio Fountain Club: Celebrity chefs David Chang and Michael and Bryan Voltaggio were the first culinary stars to take over the Bellagio Fountain Club. Each chef crafted a selection of their most famous dishes during a live demonstration broadcast throughout the VIP hospitality space perched over the track. Guests enjoyed signature dishes from the acclaimed chefs throughout the evening.
• Haas Team Meets Fans at Bellagio Fountain Club: The stars of the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team (“HF1”) thrilled fans at an invitation-only meet and greet with drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg and Netflix star Guenther Steiner.
• Alfa Romeo Team Unveils Car, Experience and Mullets at ARIA: Alfa Romeo celebrated its racing DNA with a display in the lobby of ARIA Resort & Casino, featuring the 2024 Tonale, the new Giulia and Stelvio, F1 Team Stake Show Car, and a selection of racing gear available for purchase. During the week, the team unveiled a unique vehicle livery that will be used during the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, with special appearances by Valterri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.
