A Morning of Fun, Refreshments and Giveaways
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation and LVMPD in partnership with UNLV Early Outreach Program will host the 2nd Annual Soccer Extravaganza for students grades 3- 5.
Students will compete in soccer games organized by LVMPD Area Commands. All levels of soccer players welcome.
LVMPD, Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup, UNLV Rebels soccer teams, and Las Vegas Lights FC organize the soccer games to promote good sportsmanship, athletic skill, accountability, discipline, teamwork, and goal setting.
Last year, more than 500 youth participated, and this year is expected to draw similar numbers.
Complimentary jerseys will be distributed to participants along with two complimentary Las Vegas Lights FC tickets and free refreshments and giveaways!

The LVMPD Foundation initiative allows LVMPD officers to cultivate strong positive relationships with participants, most of whom reside in lower socio-economic areas of the valley.
The goal is to foster inclusiveness and good citizenship through participation in athletic programs.
