“Big Buck,” also known as The World’s Largest Belt Buckle, will be in residence in Las Vegas through December 12 at the South Point Hotel and Casino, as part of the festivities surrounding the 2022 National Finals Rodeo (which kicks off December 1 and runs through the 10th).
Dreamed and designed by Montana Silversmiths in collaboration with Priefert Manufacturing Company, Big Buck weighs in at 1,000 pounds and some change, and towers at 10 ft. 6 in. by 14 ft. 6.4 in.
Big Buck is the larger-than-life inspiration/replica of his trusty traveling companion, the longtime Montana Silversmiths customer favorite Big Horn trophy buckle, fondly known as “Little Buck.” (Little Buck is available for custom order at montanasilversmiths.com or from Montana Silversmiths authorized retailers across the U.S. and Canada.)
Big Buck was created in honor of the 50th anniversary for Montana Silversmiths, the Official Silversmith for **PRCA/NFR and the creator of the NFR’s championship trophy buckles.
“We wanted to do something big for our milestone anniversary, something that paid tribute to our history, to our collaborations with partners like NFR, and to the larger-than-life heritage of the Western lifestyle,” said Judy Wagner, Chief Marketing Officer for Montana Silversmiths. “If you’re in Vegas right now or will be soon, you won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime selfie opportunity and the chance to experience Big Buck up close.”
