Brooklyn Bowl is thrilled to welcome prolific jam band Umphrey’s McGee to the stage on Saturday, Feb. 25 as a stop on their umXXV Anniversary Tour, celebrating the band’s 25th anniversary.
An established eclectic improv-rock band in their own right, Umphrey’s McGee’s sound has evolved over the past 24 years, transcending genres, moods, tempos and feelings – sometimes all within a singular song.
With over two decades of experience comes wisdom and maturity – both musically and personally – that is evident in the band’s latest album “Asking For A Friend.”
The 14-track album is an extraordinarily cohesive and fresh statement from the group, approaching their craft through a renewed lens.
However, while the band’s focus remains on the future, they continue to reflect and draw on their past. Long-time fans will be thrilled to know that the Umphrey’s McGee they know and love is still very much present on “Asking For A Friend,” just with more refined and focused take.
Tickets to Umphrey’s McGee at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas will be available online on Friday, October 14 at 10 a.m. PST. Artist presales begin Tuesday, October 11 at 10 a.m. PST with local presales following shortly after on Thursday, October 13 at 10 a.m. PST.
