Latin GRAMMY Award-nominated musician, television personality, producer, best-selling author and businesswoman Chiquis is bringing her unique sound to House of Blues Las Vegas Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022.
Janney Marín, better known as Chiquis, is an artist (singer and songwriter), businesswoman, author and television celebrity and Latin GRAMMY award winner for Best Banda Album (for PLAYLIST). She started her career in television, becoming a pioneer in reality shows for the Latin audience, with her shows Chiquis and Raq-C; I love Jenni, Chiquis ‘n Control and Chiquis Confidential.
In 2013, Chiquis, fulfilling a promise she made to her mom Jenni Rivera, began her career as a solo singer. Less than a two years later, her first album, Ahora became number one in sales for two consecutive weeks on iTunes and the album was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album’s five singles were in the Top 10 on national radio stations. With Ahora, Chiquis also received important nominations and was honored with prestigious awards. Currently, she is promoting her new album Abeja Reina, released May 2022. Her latest singles include “Mi Problema,” “Abeja Reina” and “Entre Besos y Copas.”

In 2017, Chiquis released her successful single “Vas a Volver”. The song was produced by ten-time Latin Grammy winner and producer Edgar Barrera, who also produced her previous hit “Horas Extras”. Both songs received radio airplay across the United States and Mexico. “Vas a Volver” is part of her second album titled Entre Botellas.
The young singer has won a Premio Lo Nuestro for Female Artist of the Year (2017) and Female Artist of the Year, Regional Mexican (2016) as well as a Premio de la Radio for Female Artist of the Year (2015).
The star is well-known on Latin television. Chiquis is a judge on the popular contest TV show Tengo Talento Mucho Talento and was part of the cast of Univision’s talent show Va Por Ti. For five seasons Chiquis has been a part of The Riveras, a reality show that focuses on her life with her four brothers, just how we saw it on I Love Jenni. The star also participated in one of the best American morning shows, The View, working with the legendary Barbara Walters and Whoopie Goldberg. Recently, Chiquis produced and hosted “Lo Mejor De Ti Con Chiquis” on Universo TV.
Chiquis has been invited to present, sing and host important award shows such as Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, Premios Billboard, Premios Banda Max, Premios de la Radio and the Latin American Music Awards. During her first presentation on Premios De La Radio, where she was the main host, the show reached its highest ratings ever.
As an author, Chiquis published her first book, “Forgiveness”, in 2015. Both of its versions (in English and Spanish) charted on The New York times best-seller list. When the entrepreneur released her book “Chiquis Keto” on enjoying the “Keto” lifestyle; it immediately reached #1 in its category on Amazon and become a bestseller on multiple book sales charts. Chiquis released her new book “Unstoppable” on February 8, 2022. Chiquis’ podcast “Chiquis and Chill” reached #5 Spotify’s Top Podcasts chart in the USA. Also, she is first Latina artist to drop an NFT that hit #1 on the Rarible NFT charts.
Chiquis has produced TV commercials for her products and special projects. Her accomplishments include releasing several perfumes, which continually generate very high sales. The young artist recently launched her own beauty line “Be Flawless”, which amazing results.
This success wasn’t entirely achieved on her own. The support of over fifteen million followers on social media has given her the opportunity to create BossBee Nation, a charitable foundation that helps thousands of young people to fulfill their dreams. BossBee Nation is an online community that offers scholarships, raising funds, and donates money to deal with domestic violence, sexual and mental abuse, self-esteem, loss of a loved one and financial guidance.
