Former Inductees Holyfield, Barrera, Paz, Wright, Martin, Carbajal Set to Attend Boxing Spectacular at Resorts World August 26-27
Not only will a glittering international cast of Inductees make their way around the globe to be honored with Induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame, but they’ll be greeted by boxing figures flying in from all over the nation to join them.
Confirmed to attend all of the weekend events including the Induction Gala, are these beloved former Inductees: Evander Holyfield (2014), Marco Antonio Barrera (2015), Michael Carbajal (2017), Christy Martin (2016, ) Vinny Paz (2019), and Winky Wright ((2019). They will all be traveling thousands of miles to revisit the city of their greatest triumphs, Las Vegas, where they later were inducted by the NVBHOF.

Many other former world champions from outside Nevada are slated to attend as well, such as Raul Marquez, Chad Dawson and Lamon Brewster.

Las Vegas itself will be well-represented with the likes of Shawn Porter, Badou Jack, Jesse Vargas, Layla McCarter, Ava Knight, and Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Inductees Mike McCallum (2013), Eddie Mustafa Muhammad (2015) and Kevin Kelley (2018).
Fans will be able to get an up-close and personal experience with these champs and the new inductees, at the NVBHOF Meet and Greet Friday afternoon, August 26, from 12-4pm at Resorts World on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip.
Resorts World is the new home for the NVBHOF, and will host all of the weekend activities.
In addition to the Meet and Greet, fans will have the opportunity to attend the Friday evening VIP “Night With The Legends” Party, the Saturday morning WBC Amateur Boxing show, and the Induction Dinner and Ceremony Saturday night.
