The white light gala is set to honor Dana and Jan Jones Blackhurst along with Michelle Desrochers
Celebrate the beauty of a night under the stars while giving back at the 2nd Annual Night en Blanc gala to benefit the Collaboration Center Foundation and the organization’s campus and program expansion. The funds raised throughout this magical evening at the Collaboration Center Foundation’s campus at LV Ranch (8390 W. Windmill Ln.) will go directly towards expanding the organization’s much-needed Pathways family program and building out its Recreation Center designed to serve all individuals with unique abilities.
Kicking off the fall fundraising season, Night en Blanc will light up Las Vegas’ West side on Wednesday, Sept. 28 beginning at 6 p.m. and features an elegant social experience complete with a fun ranch vibe with the city’s finest bites and cocktails, and a silent and live auction sure to raise money for the much-anticipated center of innovation, inclusion, and service for thousands of Nevada families.
Festivities feature a fun outdoor dine-around vibe with a variety of bites and cocktails available courtesy of Evel Pie, PKWY Tavern, Project BBQ, Mas Por Favor, Firefly* Tapas Kitchen + Bar, Golden Tiki, Ritchie McNeelys, Corks ‘n Crafts, Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, Keris Sweets and more along with a coffee bar from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. In addition to amazing cuisine, guests will also enjoy an open bar for the evening.
The celebration under the stars will take partygoers on a tour of the ranch as they move through to the courtyard to the stables and ranch. Cirque Mechanics will be roaming throughout the evening from vignettes to highlight performances.
Night en Blanc will also honor community disability champions Dana and Jan Jones Blackhurst with a Community Advocate Award, as well as a Self-Advocate Ambassador Award to the amazing Michelle Desrochers.
Individuals and families living with autism and other intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities have fallen even further behind during the pandemic and are in dire need of a safe and welcoming place to receive all treatments and supportive care services to reach their full potential. Since the foundation launch in 2019, Collaboration Center is on its way to becoming that place with its expansive five-acre campus in Southern Nevada.
Collaboration Center’s plans include the build-out of the current ranch to include more than 35,000 square feet of treatment, therapy, recreation and support services space, as well as a family pavilion, aquatic facility, state-of-the-art ADA playground, community meeting space, full grab-n-go café and retail store. Collaboration Center Foundation was fortunate to receive state funding this past year to help accomplish this, however, there is still a $5.5 million gap to complete this dream campus that will change thousands of lives every year. Its Pathway program is already helping families navigate the complex system of care and support that every individual and their families endure when either diagnosed with a disability or aged out of their current system.
Events like Night en Blanc are critical in making sure the organization raises enough funds to get closer to completing the campus buildout, helping eliminate treatment waitlists, house a medical clinic and more.
Night en Blanc is 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the Collaboration Center Foundation campus at LV Ranch at 8390 W. Windmill Ln. (between Durango Drive and Buffalo Drive).
