Credit One Bank, a data-driven financial services company headquartered in Las Vegas, continues to reward card members and help decrease paper waste through its Go Paperless, Get Paid sweepstakes. The sweepstakes, open to all Credit One Bank card members, encouraged customers to “go green” and sign up for paperless statements. All card members who selected to go paperless on or before September 30, 2020 were entered for a chance to win a grand prize of $10,000, with 15 additional winners awarded $500 each.
William K., a Credit One Bank card member from California, opted in to receive paperless statements and documents and was selected as the $10,000 grand prize winner. William has been a Credit One Bank card member since 2017.
Matching the sweepstakes’ grand prize, Credit One Bank also donated $10,000 to One Tree Planted to support the planting of 10,000 trees. With their donation, Credit One Bank chose to support a reforestation project to replant trees in the Angeles National Forest, a part of California that was affected by wildfires. The project aims to accelerate forest growth, preserve critical habitats and watersheds, and ultimately benefit the local community.
“As a company, we look for opportunities to engage with and reward our card members,” said John Coombe, senior vice president of marketing at Credit One Bank. “Through this sweepstakes, we were not only able to provide the convenience and security of paperless documents for our card members, but we also had the chance to donate to One Tree Planted and make a difference in an area of the country where many of our card members reside.”
