It was a night of fun and excitement Wednesday, July 13 inside Excalibur’s Thunderland Showroom as Australia’s Thunder From Down Under entertained and danced for fans, celebrating 20 years of performances at the castle along The Strip.
The festivities included Adam Steck, CEO of SPI Entertainment and co-owner of the show, receiving a proclamation from the Clark County Commission, declaring July 5 – 13 as “Thunder From Down Under Week.” MGM Resorts Vice President of Entertainment Laura Ishum congratulated Steck and the cast on the tremendous milestone with a large, decorated cake.
Steck, who received the proclamation with business partner and group founder Bill Cross, said, “We have enjoyed our residency at the iconic Excalibur for 20 years as well as having the distinction of being the longest-running male revue on the Las Vegas Strip. Having this proclamation and last week’s Key to The Strip presentation is an incredible honor. We want to thank our wonderful MGM Resorts partners and, of course, the millions of fans who have supported us through the years and celebrated countless bachelorette parties, birthdays, graduations and yes, even divorces.”
Thunder From Down Under remains a favorite among celebrity guests, hosting stars such as Demi Moore, Kelly Clarkson, Paris Hilton, Heidi Klum, Chrissy Teigen, Gene Simmons of KISS, The Property Brothers and dozens of others who have attended the show since it first opened.
Thunder debuted in Las Vegas in 1993 at the Stardust Hotel and had its first full residency at The New Frontier, prior to making Excalibur its home for the last 20 years.
Tickets for the show can be purchased at thunderfromdownunder.com or excalibur.com. Ticket prices start at $49.95 (not including taxes and applicable service fees) and preferred and VIP seating prices vary. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to attend.

ABOUT AUSTRALIA’S THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER
Australia’s Thunder From Down Under is first-of-its-kind innovator in the male revue genre. The production was created in 1988 by Billy Cross, CEO of Cross Promotions International. He met up with producer Adam Steck, CEO of SPI Entertainment.
The two hit it off and joined forces to build and develop Australia’s Thunder from Down Under into one of the most seductive, alluring, and enduring attractions on the Las Vegas Strip.
The go-to destination for bachelorette parties, milestone events, or just a fun girls’ night out, the show’s long-running residency at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino began in 2002. The show has since become entrenched in American culture with dozens of national television appearances (and numerous celebrity attendees— including Britney Spears, Demi Moore, Kelly Clarkson, and Jessica Biel among others).
Today, Australia’s Thunder from Down Under is much more than a show—it has become a sensationally scintillating global brand. Cross and Steck have made Thunder From Down Under the #1 male revue show in the world— and with tours in Germany, Ireland, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Guam, Thailand, and Macau, among others, the powerhouse duo have propelled Australia’s hottest export to international acclaim.
