Coi Leray, the BET Award nominated hip-hop artist, took the stage at LIGHT Nightclub, located at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, on Friday, May 27.
The night’s performance kicked off a weekend of powerhouse performances at the popular nightclub.
Arriving at LIGHT around 2 a.m., Leray was joined by her mother and a group of friends. Outfitted in a white tank top, cutoff jean shorts and white high-top sneakers, the platinum selling artist took the stage for a 30-minute high-energy performance of her biggest hit songs, including “Twinnem” and “What’s My Name,” that had the crowd on its feet and packing the dance floor while her mother watched from the stage. The group sipped on Don Julio 1942 and Casamigos tequila throughout the night before departing the club shortly after the performance to continue their night.
LIGHT is open from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights and has provided guests with a world-class experience combining a state-of-the-art sound system with massive LED screens since opening in 2013. Since reopening its doors in February, the nightclub has hosted performances by Wyclef Jean, Sam Hunt and Iggy Azalea, LIGHT continues the star-studded lineup in May with Justin Quiles, Miguel and a second performance by Ludacris among other talent to be announced.
