International Baseball Superstar to Stage Home Run Hitting Performance at Halftime — All Fans With Baseball Glove Invited On-Field to Catch Pop-Ups.

The Las Vegas Lights FC announced today its home match on Friday, May 27th will include…:

• Jose Canseco conducting a “home run hitting performance” at halftime by hitting autographed softballs into the crowd. 

• $1 juice drinks all night long (re-imagining the long time Cashman Field tradition of “dollar beers” when baseball was played there). 

• All fans with a baseball glove will be invited onto the field at halftime to catch any “pop-ups” from Canseco.

“Sports Illustrated once called Lights FC the Most Interesting Team in America,” said Lights FC Owner & C.E.O. Brett Lashbrook.  “On May 27th we’ll take Cashman Field back to its baseball roots with another one of our trademark unique promotions!”

Lights FC currently sits in a playoff position.  Its next home match is this Saturday, May 14th at Cashman Field in downtown Las Vegas (7pm kick-off).
