Co-Owners Nathan Grates and Anthony Jamison are excited to announce the opening and entertainment for The Sand Dollar Downtown.
The venue opened today at 2 p.m. with a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring Shanda & The Howlers and the Rhyolite Sound starting at 8 p.m. The venue will celebrate its Grand Opening Memorial Day Weekend with entertainment including Crash Midnight and Artur Menezes. All performances are free and start at 9 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Admission to 21+ with valid ID.
The Sand Dollar Downtown is the newest live music and craft cocktail venue rocking the downtown casino corridor inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino. The second location of the iconic local Las Vegas bar, Sand Dollar Downtown opened in May 2022 offering free nightly entertainment from local bands and national headliners accompanied by original handcrafted cocktails, pizza, and pool.
The downtown location mirrors many of the same elements from the original Sand Dollar Lounge, while adding a little swank and swagger with VIP booths, champagne machines, and pizza from the Plaza’s own nationally-acclaimed Pop-Up Pizza.
