Virgil’s Real Barbecue at The LINQ Promenade will celebrate National BBQ Month throughout May with a BBQ Sampler & Spirit Tasting.
The $59 pairing includes Memphis Style Spare Ribs, Texas Beef Brisket, Carolina Pulled Pork, BBQ Wing, Trash Ribs, and Cornbread, paired with a selection of three hand-selected whiskeys & bourbons that go perfectly with Virgil’s favorite BBQ meats: George Dickel, Knob Creek, and Woodford Rye.
The restaurant features the world-famous BBQ tastes of Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, the Carolinas, and Missouri to offer a true sampling of barbecue in its many and varied regional interpretations. Virgil’s meats are smoked at a low temperature over indirect heat for up to ten hours with a unique mix of hickory, oak and fruit woods to impart the most flavor and to keep the meat from drying out.
To complement the main menu of BBQ specialties, Virgil’s also serves up a generous selection of traditional sides and Southern-style desserts. Beverage offerings include a number of beers on tap, signature whiskey drinks, and one-gallon “Party in a Jar” cocktails for sharing. Virgil’s boasts multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, including a second-floor patio overlooking the Promenade.
