The larger-than-life, 30-foot-tall apple now on display in front of Lady Liberty at New York-New York Hotel & Casino; The size of new display is equivalent to 1,500,000 real apples
Cirque du Soleil’s new show, Mad Apple, has debuted a new spectacle on the Las Vegas Strip: a massive and vibrantly colored 30-by-30-foot inflatable apple prominently located at the base of Lady Liberty at New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
The 315-pound spherical display took more than 200 hours to create. Inflated in six minutes, the apple has made its new home on The Strip and will be on property throughout the show’s May launch.

Premiering Thursday, May 26 at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple will be a cocktail of music, comedy, magic and mayhem that puts NYC nightlife under the Las Vegas lights. Featuring comedian Brad Williams, freestyle rapper Chris Turner and vocalist Xharlie Black amongst the incredibly talented cast of 39, the show will be a non-stop New York thrill ride from the moment guests enter the theater. From pre-show magic and boozy libations at the stunning stage bar, to the band playing hits inspired by NYC’s most famous musicians and composers, Mad Apple will blur the lines between circus, live entertainment and New York nightlife culture.
Previews for Mad Apple begin Thursday, May 12, with tickets starting at $49 (not including taxes and fees).
