More than 200 local movers and shakers, including Las Vegas Raiders owner and regular, Mark Davis, came out to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Piero’s Italian Cuisine last night.
The treasured Las Vegas fine dining restaurant’s owners, founder Freddie Glusman, and his son, Evan Glusman, treated guests to a fabulous celebration to honor the momentous occasion.
Guests, who were dressed in extravagant Las Vegas style, were welcomed with champagne upon entering the iconic, award-winning Italian restaurant. Freddie, himself a local icon, and Evan, who is now at the helm of Piero’s, thanked party guests, many of whom have been dining at Piero’s since the restaurant opened in 1982, as well as their loyal team. They were joined at the podium by Las Vegas legends, Tony Marnell and Tim Poster, both of whom have been regular Piero’s guests for many years. They spoke of the Glusmans’ many Las Vegas contributions, as well as what the restaurant has meant to them, personally. For many Las Vegas locals, Piero’s has been the go-to restaurant to celebrate numerous special milestones throughout their lives, from rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions to birthdays and retirement parties.
Piero’s pulled out all of the stops for the bash, treating party guests to a feast featuring some of the restaurant’s favorite dishes, including agnolotti and a carving station with prime New York strip steak. A decadent seafood tower was overflowing with crab claws, shrimp, and more, and an ice sculpture by American Harvest Vodka treated guests to classic martinis.
To honor the anniversary with the greater Las Vegas community, Piero’s will offer a specialty prix fixe dinner for locals, available starting today, March 15, through Tuesday, March 22. Priced at $90 per guest, the four-course meal will feature Piero’s most popular dishes such as its housemade agnolotti, pasta e fagiolo, linguine and clams, veal parmesan, pollo Carciofi, custard-filled profiteroles and more. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online through OpenTable or by calling the restaurant at 702.369.2305.
