Brothers Michael Morton and David Morton’s ONE Steakhouse, located at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton, will put a luxury steakhouse spin on a game day favorite with a Wagyu hot dog and locally sourced beer during the men’s college basketball tournament games, available from Thursday, March 17 through Sunday, March 20.
The Wagyu hot dog, prepared by Executive Chef Patrick Munster, is topped with shaved black truffles on a fresh brioche bun served with house-made pickled carrots. ONE Steakhouse will be pairing the Wagyu hot dog with Excited State Pilsner from Able Baker Brewing, a local Las Vegas brewery. The German-style pilsner, known for its toasted malt finish, pairs well with the grilled flavors of the hot dog and chocolately, earthly profile of the black truffles.
The Wagyu hot dog and beer combination will be priced at $27. Beginning nightly at 5 p.m., the games will be shown on televisions within the restaurant’s bar and lounge situated under a canopy of more than 3,500 hand-crafted pieces of glass and scintillating LED lights which change colors throughout the evening.
ONE Steakhouse’s full menu will also be available. Executive Chef Munster brings his talents to preparing steaks to perfection at ONE Steakhouse, where favorites include mouthwatering Japanese Satsuma Wagyu; ricotta gnocchi made with parmesan Reggiano and creamy peppercorn; and citrus-cured Hamachi topped with sweety drop pepper purée and jalapeño. Additionally, Munster’s signature “Tomahawk Feast” is a dry-aged, 16-lb USDA prime tomahawk steak, carved tableside for 10-12 people.
ONE Steakhouse is open daily at 5 p.m. and can be found just steps away from the hotel’s valet on Harmon Avenue. Reservations may be made by calling 702-522-8111 or visiting www.onesteakhouse.com.
