That’s amore! Piero’s Italian Cuisine, one of the city’s most romantic restaurants since its opening 40 years ago, will serve a mélange of lavish specialty Valentine’s Day dishes, available exclusively on Monday, Feb. 14.
Featured specials will include a Hamachi crudo appetizer with blood orange, fennel, radish, evo and citrus salad as an appetizer; and spicy seafood bucatini with shrimp, mussels, calamari, crab, chili and tomato, and surf and turf featuring a half-grilled lobster tail with scampi butter, white wine and lemon sauce and an 8-ounce filet with Bordelaise sauce as entrées. Guests may conclude their meals with fresh, chocolate-dipped strawberries for dessert. All dishes will be à la carte and available from 5:30-9 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.
The full menu will also be available, which includes favorites like the osso buco, which has been on the menu since 1982, bone-in veal parmigiana, homemade agnolotti with ricotta and spinach, and Piero’s signature garbage Caesar salad made with tomatoes, avocado, grilled shrimp and hearts of palm. In addition to one of the city’s largest wine collections, Piero’s serves exceptional specialty cocktails, including key lime pie martini, lemon drop martini and Spark Plug, a chilled shot combining vanilla vodka, espresso and Kahlúa.
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online through OpenTable or by calling the restaurant at 702.369.2305. More information can be found on the website at www.PierosCuisine.com.
