As the Year of the Tiger approaches, Mohegan Sun Casino inside of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will be a lively space to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Taking place on Saturday, February 5, the celebration will begin at 5 p.m. and feature an exciting parade of performers moving throughout the 60,000 square foot casino during the traditional lion dance. There are even commemorative $5 or $100 “Year of the Tiger” chips in circulation right now.
After celebrating the lion dance with Mohegan Sun Casino, the festivities continue at the esteemed Night + Market by celebrity chef Kris Yenbamroong. Special items on their Chinese New Year menu will be available February 4 and 5, featuring Good Luck Tiger Noodles, a medley of sauteed egg noodles with black tiger shrimp, chili, onions, peppers and peanuts for $26. Also on the menu will be vegetable rolls for $16, orange chicken for $22 and tofu wontons for $16.
