As the clock strikes midnight on Halloween morning, gamers are invited to an overnight watch party for one of the most anticipated esports events of the year – the 2020 League of Legends World Championship.
Doors for the watch party will open at 12 a.m. October 31 – just after the Arena’s Friday Frags tournament – and the Finals will begin at 3 a.m. Spectator tickets for the event are free. Guests can pre-register for 50% off of gameplay, or four hours for $20.
Later that Halloween night, the arena will host a special edition of Saturday “Fright” Speedway featuring a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament and costume contest. Dress like your favorite Mario Kart character (or anything else) and take home a piece of the $500 contest, including $300 for first place.
Racers can register in the tournament for $10 and compete to advance through four stages – qualifiers, last chance battle, semifinals and grand final. A $700 prize pool will be split between all racers who qualify for the grand final.
The health and safety of guests and team members is the top priority for HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas. The venue has implemented physical distancing and strict sanitization guidelines throughout, and limited space will be available due to protocols in place.
