Following a partnership for Hispanic Heritage Month, Makers & Finders presented Chicanos Por La Causa with a check for $2,500
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Latin inspired restaurant and craft coffee house Makers & Finders partnered with Chicanos Por La Causa to raise money for the local non-profit. Following the successful partnership, Makers & Finders presented members of the organization with a check for $2,500.
“Celebrating culture and Latin flavors are two pillars Makers & Finders is founded on, so we were thrilled to partner with Chicanos Por La Causa to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month,” said Josh Molina, founder and CEO of Makers & Finders. “We jumped at the chance to support our community while bringing attention to CPLC’s work, and in turn, our customers stepped up to the plate – literally.”
As part of the partnership, Makers & Finders launched a limited time three-course brunch menu that donated $5 from every sale and was ordered more than 200 times. Additionally, Makers & Finders hosted a fundraiser at the Main Street location during its inaugural Salsa Night with all the proceeds benefiting Chicanos Por La Causa. Chicanos Por La Causa’s core mission is to drive economic and political empowerment in low to moderate individuals and families to help them achieve self-sufficiency.
