Eight Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas just hosted ANOTHER sports icon last night– the one and only Charles Barkley.
He came in and watched the Boston Celtics crush the LA Lakers joined by associates from TNT – where he’s the star analyst on “Inside the NBA,” in one of Eight’s elite private rooms.
The 11-time NBA All-Star and one of the greatest players in the history of the game selected a Padrón Serie 1926 No. 2 cigar, an exceptional pairing for his Casa Dragones Blanco tequila, which he sipped on the rocks. The straight-shooting commentator kicked back in one of Eight’s oversized leather chairs while engaged in an animated conversation with his friends and associates. Barkley also spent time admiring Eight’s incredible selection in the opulent humidor.
Eight has proven to be the top Vegas destination for sports icons since opening just two weeks ago. The sexy, sophisticated cigar bar and cocktail lounge has hosted Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez – twice, Wayne Gretzky and Mike Tyson. Eight has also hosted A-list actors Henry Golding and Michael Cudlitz and globally renowned DJ, Steve Aoki.
Michael Jordan, Gretzky and A-Rod all have one of Eight’s elite private lockers, available for an annual fee of $5,000. Of the 48 private lockers, less than half are still available.
This holiday season, Eight is offering the $10,000 Chairman’s Locker – a limited-edition package that includes one of the private lockers, each of which is marked by a gold engraved nameplate; 50 hand-selected premium and limited-edition cigars with varying brands like Padron, Arturo Fuente and El Septimo, based on availability; an S.T. Dupont lighter, an S.T. Dupont straight cutter and Elie Bleu ashtray. The humidor maintains a temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit and 70% humidity year-round for optimal cigar storage.
