Commonwealth, located in the heart of Fremont East Entertainment District at 525 E. Fremont St., will celebrate its nine-year anniversary with special guest performances, rooftop DJs and a sponsored bar on Wednesday, Nov. 24.
“When we developed Commonwealth I was inspired by the timeless charm you can find in bars on the East Coast that have hosted generations of regulars. I combined that inspiration with a stylish sensibility that today is a neighborhood institution,” said Corner Bar Management’s founder, Ryan Doherty. “I can’t wait to see where the next years will take us.”
Commonwealth redefined nightlife in Downtown Las Vegas when it opened in November 2012 as Corner Bar Management’s first concept. Reflecting Doherty’s passion for art and design, as well as a cocktail program on par with some of the top bar destinations in the world, Commonwealth has remained the top nightlife destination on Fremont East.
Commonwealth invites guests to dance the night away in celebration of providing Downtown Las Vegas with nine years of beautiful views, craft cocktails and rooftop dances. The night will include fresh beats by the resident DJs, as well as a special performance by Moontricks. The musical duo will perform in Commonwealth’s main room where listeners can enjoy the live sounds of their instruments and vocals.
Commonwealth will offer a sponsored bar from 8 to 10 p.m. to kick off the night. Guests may indulge in Commonwealth’s other handcrafted drinks including Pleasure Fist, a combination of light run, black rum, fresh lime, orgeat and orange liqueur for $14; Cutie Collins, made of cucumber vodka, fresh lemon juice, orange liqueur, simple syrup and soda, priced at $14; The Line Ride which consists of three individual shots of Diplomático Rum, a line of cinnamon, brown sugar and white sugar priced at $33; and more.
