Las Vegas PRIDE will host its annual LGBTQ+ Night Parade on October 8 in downtown Las Vegas.
The following day’s festival has a new home in the City of North Las Vegas at Craig Ranch Regional Park.
Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and First Lady Kathy Sisolak are expected to join LGBTQ+ transgender activist and reigning Miss Nevada Kataluna Enriquez as co-grand marshals of the parade at the opening ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, October 8.
The celebration for the LGBTQ+ community will continue beginning at noon the following day, Saturday October 9, at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Festival entertainment begins at 5 p.m. with Jiggly Caliente, followed by Mila Jam at 7 p.m. and festival headliner Slayyter at 9 p.m.
“The First Lady and I are proud to continue to stand with the LGBTQ+ community as we join this year’s annual PRIDE Parade and we are honored to be invited,” said Governor Sisolak. “In Nevada, we remain committed to equality, and we will continue to celebrate and recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals have had on our State and nation. As Governor, I will continue to do everything I can to ensure we will always be a welcoming State for folks of all walks of life – Our diversity is our strength in this State.”
