Legendary singer and songwriter Paul Anka had plenty to celebrate on his 80th birthday July 30, as many of his Hollywood superstar friends – including Jennifer Aniston, John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Jimmy Kimmel, Jason Bateman, and Quincy Jones, among others – paid tribute to the music icon with heartfelt video birthday greetings and messages.

In addition to this impressive birthday tribute, Anka is preparing for the release of his new album, Making Memories, and his 22-city North American tour, Anka Sings Sinatra. The album, with all of the songs penned and performed by this legendary songwriter, is set for release on August 13, 2021, on Green Hill Productions, a subsidiary of Primary Wave Music, is now available for pre-order.
Making Memories will not only feature the new, #1 duet, “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” with Olivia Newton-John but, also a newly-reimagined version of his 1957 hit, “You Are My Destiny” with classical crossover group Il Divo. On the heels of the “May Way” 50th anniversary, perhaps his most famous self-penned hit, Anka has re-recorded the classic with Michael Bublé and Andrea Bocelli.
