Ronnow Elementary students return to school with full gym equipment after it was stolen during summer break
Polar Shades, a locally-owned and operated leading manufacturer of high-quality interior and exterior window shades, delivered brand new gym equipment to students at Ronnow Elementary School on Tuesday, May 4. Last July, thousands of dollars in gym equipment was stolen from the school from physical education teacher, Stephanie Graville, much of which was purchased with her own money, in an event Graville called “devastating.”
Items delivered include hula hoops, jump ropes, bean bags, basketballs, soccer balls dodgeballs bowling sets and more. Graville teaches physical education for the more than 800 students at Ronnow Elementary.
“I’m so grateful for the incredible community partners like Polar Shades who’ve stepped in to provide equipment for these students,” said Graville. “It’s especially important as we return to school after a year of such uncertainty for these children. Physical education and the many programs we put on each school year are incredibly valuable.”
