September at L.A. Comedy Club is jam packed with fun, featuring a fantastic comedy lineup that includes the Latino comedy star Alex Reymundo; a Las Vegas favorite, Todd Rexx; and hometown gem, Jay Reid.
Leading up to Mexican Independence Day, Alex Reymundo will be taking the stage Monday, Sept. 9 through Sunday, Sept. 15. His first taste of live stand-up comedy came in Arlington, TX, where he proudly served drinks to the legendary Ron White before his performances. This initial encounter sparked a connection that would eventually lead to Alex joining Ron on tour, solidifying his place in the comedy world.
Later, Alex made his way to Los Angeles, where he quickly found his niche within the thriving Latino comedy scene. It wasn’t long before his success went national with Paramount Picture’s “The Original Latin Kings of Comedy” alongside Paul Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, George Lopez and Joey Medina, also gaining over 6 million views on CMT with Ron White’s “Salute to the Troops.” He even launched a premium tequila label, “Number JUAN Tequila” which he co-owns with Ron White.
Todd Rexx, known throughout the comedy world as “T-Rexx,” is a New Jersey native who made his debut on the comedy scene in 1992, taking the stage at The Comedy Café in Washington, D.C. T-Rexx has been winning over audiences with his over-the-top impersonations and brilliant crowd interaction ever since. Rexx has graced the stage on numerous television shows, including BET’s ‘Comic View,’ ‘The Tonight Show,’ and HBO’s ‘Def Comedy Jam All-Stars,’ among others. Find T-Rexx at the club from Monday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 22.
Jay Reid is a Las Vegas-raised stand-up comedian who started performing at small clubs when he was just 19. His first big break came as a contestant on BET’s ‘Coming to the Stage’ comedy competition, which opened the doors to performances at renowned comedy venues throughout Las Vegas and California, including the Laugh Factory in Hollywood and the L.A. Comedy Club.
After being a contestant and winning comedian Bill Bellamy’s “Who’s Got Jokes?,” he landed his own comedy special “L.M.A.O.” on TvONE network. He also starred in Showtime’s ‘Ladies Night Out Comedy Special’ and toured with the ‘Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour,’ alongside Bellamy. You can find Reid’s third comedy special “That Don’t Go Together” on Dry Bar while he works on his upcoming fourth feature.
Jay will be playing at “home” in Vegas from Monday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 6.
